Photoshop video

Hello, I tried to make a video / slideshow for the first time yesterday, and this is my second attempt, I know it is not a professional job, but it would have been nice to hear from you thought was good and what was bad, and how I could make the video itself "fun and exciting" as marketing to my new facebook page? :)

The idea of the video is the first to show people who might not be familiar with photoshop how extremely much time and patience required to make a few simple changes. Then of course it's for educational purposes for those who want to start with something new (such as in this video, change the background image using multiple layers)
However, I don't think that it helps a lot especially now at the beginning when I'm newbie to video editing.

I hope you like what you see and / or you can give constructive criticism! :)

Well, for a quick marketing video it's way too long and slow-paced. The steps were so slow through-out the video I paused it and came here to write about it instead.

First of all, showing the base image for 10 long seconds is the biggest pace killer right at the start. Secondly, there's no need to put the same 1 second interval between every wip of which most were about adding all those small details into the image. By changing the duration of each wip stage you can make it a lot more interesting to watch. The smaller details around the same area in the image (for example, from the right edge of the image towards the left) could show up very quickly, maybe even 1/5th of a second in between. Smaller interval for small details and a longer duration when there's a bigger change in the image is a good rule of thumb.

The editing (both video and the car image) itself is very good though. Keep it up!

Thanks, I really appreciate the criticism and will try to think about it next time :)
