I've had another thought about your Construct's idea for the Autemo championships (the staggered system). I'm thinking we mix both of our ideas together so it works something like this:

- Two types of competitions running: Classic & All Star
- Competitions are relatively self explanatory but; Classic = Easy, choppable, iconic bases (can be new or old cars). All Star = Harder more specific "themed" rounds - much like ASC Rounds this year.
- Both types of competitions run for 6 weeks, but their start and deadlines are staggered... (See this link if you don't understand)
- Same requirements as I described before for being eligible to win the Autemo Champs overall:

- The winner of the Autemo Championships at the end of the year is the chopper with the highest average points tally for their best 6 rounds. These rounds can be either Simple or Complex, but the catch is that the winner must have competed in at least 3 Simple & 3 Complex rounds.
- There will be other prizes/awards (highest season points tally, highest average points per round, complex comp winner, simple comp winner, etc.) but the main prize will be as specified above.

Round 1 will start on the 1st of January and will be a Classic Round.

Competitions
Are there too many or too few?
I think there are just the right amount. But I think, there should be competitions similar to ASC/WTB more often. I know this might not be able to be done, but it's just an idea.

Are the rounds too long or too short?
I think that they are just the right length. As mentioned before, the voting does go on for a bit too long.

What about the bases?
I think most of the bases supplied, are aimed for the higher level artists to work with as they need alot more doing. And some of the lower level artists can't do the work. And feel a bit, left out? I know everyone likes a challenge, but not something that is impossible.

Social Media
I think Autemo is pretty active as it it. And being more active probably won't help with the promotion of the site. It would be, "too" out there..

Should we spark up Twitter again?
I didn't know that you had stopped using Twitter?! Anyway, I think that would be a good idea.

Flash Comps returning?
I have never entered, but I think for the people who would like to see them back, the times should be longer, as the gap is too short in my opinion.

Site Updates
Does the thread voting system need to be reformed/removed?
I don't think it needs removing, but it does need to be changed a little bit. I don't like how long it takes people to vote. I think there should be a specific time window for people to vote, and it should be closed after a certain time. So people can get on with the next project without being held back by the voting.

Is there potential in the Global Ranking System?
I don't think that there is. I haven't seen it used at all, and I don't think it would ever catch on.

What other features would you like to see on the forum?
I think there should be a feature on the home page, when you click to load the page, that allows you to see the latest works. Not just the more advanced artists works, but everyone's.

Staff
Do you think that the staff run the site well?
I think they run it well, yes. I don't have any complaints. They listen to what you have to say, take it on board and overall, they try and please everyone which is a good thing. Overall, I think they're doing a great job!

Does there need to be more staff/new staff hired?
I think, there is enough staff in the higher rankings and for the overall site than there is in the lower rankings. I think that some staff for those people should be appointed.

Does the staff need to be more active in the forums (posting, commenting, etc.)
I think that the do, yes. I have noticed that most of the admins only help out with higher ranking artists. I think I have only had one or two comment on my posts the whole time I have been here. Yes, they were helpful but I think it would be good to see more active staff members. Especially in the lower ranked artists posts.

How do you suggest we get more people posting in the forums?
I think that if the posts and comments were monitored more, people might comment more. Some people aren't that pleasant in the comments, and it discourages people posting. I know I have been discouraged by some people commenting, and it not being the best things said.
I prefer engine oil and overalls to nail polish and fashion any day♥

They mean the thread voting i.e. 1-10* rather than the competition voting ;)
Some other good points though :-d
