According to North Korea they won everything last week, so I guess we can all go home now.

There's so many people from countries other than those in the UK who just plain didn't understand what the opening ceremony was about. Mostly Americans if I'm honest, people who thrive on congregating and circle jerking about their mutual confusion instead of doing some research. Maybe the lesser minded people would have enjoyed fireworks and explosions a bit more :P

For me and many others, the opening ceremony was amazing, and a perfect representation of British culture. Danny Boyle did an epic job.

Thanks for the explanation. It's not surprising that my parents didn't understand what's going on then XD

Well, as the Olympics are nearly over, I guess I want to put one more question to you, If you could COMPETE in any Olympic sport, what would you choose?

Mine is Cycling, I have always enjoyed it and am seriously considering becoming a professional, but that's another story.
