Gurnade Nissan GTR (3D Content)

Not the newest rendering, but I noticed it was never posted here. Enjoy!

Sweet render Josh, I'd love to know which program you're running them through.

All of the paint on Gurnade's 3D content looks top notch and very realistic whilst the wheels tend to look flat and lifeless with no real metallic gleam to them, I've noticed it on a lot of the renders you're producing.
Hello.
Great render, Im not sure if it that or a real picture :P

Thanks Jack, I use a variety of programs; but mostly Cinema 4d.

As far as the wheels, for a quite a few of them (not this one in particular) I used a matte paint (Like the recent Jetta, S5, and tC) which may be why they don't look metallic. Just going for a different look. Check out the 'Z, those wheels pop!

Ah, that explains it entirely then :D

I don't know if you mention the wheels are matte in your descriptions (If you do, then I've overlooked and I apologise) But maybe mention in future as my immediate impression was that the wheels weren't rendered correctly. Now I look back, the wheels look good now I know they're matte.

I saw your Z, and I thought the wheels were actually 'shopped which speaks volumes about what I said above. The tyres still have the 3D look about them though which I noticed on the Z, but I think they could use some more shadow both further inside the tyre, and where they're hitting the floor. The texture itself looks great.

Again, nice work!
Hello.
I try to mention it in the description, but sometimes I miss it. Our posts on FB are usually more descriptive (not that it helps much here).

But I couldn't agree more about the tires. They don't have texture, partly because the ones I have suck; so they are always a challenge.
