It took me a long time to begin to appreciate this chop...
I had to have a good stare for about 10 minutes... only then did I truely begin to see just how awesome it is...
The detail in the paint, the colours and the atmosphere..
Comparing it to the reference only serves to make it look even more impressive...

As for whether it's hof material? Debatable perhaps, as there are a few errors:
->Arch bolts seem randomly placed only one one side of the arch, as if it was too much effort to work out the positioning and perspective that should be on the others as they follow round the car
->few jaggies here and there
->bg looks really fake and very very off
->Front bumper looks hella toony and the lighting doesn't seem to make sense wiht the rest of the backdrop

Other than that... simply stunning O.o

At first I wanted to know what all the fuss what about too. I came into this thread after seeing the GA posted about in the chatbox. And as usual, for the 2 seconds while the page was loading I was eagerly thinking 'FUCK YEAH!' (or 'Aww Yiss' as Espen might say). I was ready to be totally knocked off my seat (as you come to expect when you open HOF threads). Did this happen? The answer was No.

At first glance, there is no doubt at all it is a spectacular chop. It's really good. At first glance anybody can see that. At first glance is it HOF? Probably no..

I agree with Linuh and the other doubters in saying this completely. I wouldn't say HOF at all, if first glances was all I was judging it on.

But here's the thing. ATC Design even mentioned this. To fully appreciate and understand this chop. You have to sit back, absorb it for a bit, open the hi-res scrutinize it up close and personal. Hell bring it into Photoshop if you still don't believe me.

And that's when you'll be blown away. The level of detail, realism, attention to lighting and all those small things make this phenomenal. That's what gives it the wow factor. And if you deny this, it's because you're not a good enough chopper to understand the things going on here in this chop.

For the record now, yes, there are flaws. It has imperfections. However, if we were aiming for perfection and realism was the only thing we cared about, we'd only be photographers. Not photochoppers.

Sit back, enjoy the chop people.

I feel the same as a lot of people here - I don't think this is HOF worthy.

Yes, the brushing detail is amazing - from the little tufts of grass growing between the joints in the kerb to the perfectly hand drawn power lines in the reflections. But to me, that's all that is special in this chop. There seems a little lack of innovation and inspiration (it almost looks too realistic and photolike and to be honest not much is changed from the paint donor) - in HOF chops I like to see something I've never seen before - something that will force me to lift my jaw from the floor. And to me, the tedious exercise of adding intricate reflections and brush strokes doesn't quite do that.

In regard to errors, I will agree with everything that ATC said - although for me they're not why it shouldn't be HOF, though they do detract from the chop slightly.

All in all, it's a well deserved promotion, but not a HOF worthy chop imo :-d

I really like the nos coming out of the rims
I have to also tell my opinion!

This is not my opinion HOF-quality. This is definitely a high-quality work, but I was not "Wow", and I do not drip from the chair!

Part of the reason may be ten other R32, which are made from the same donor. In my opinion HOF-work must be unique. Then to become a "Wow"!

But now the work: :P
The incredibly gorgeous brushing! Clean body!
A fantastic atmosphere!

Most I like the rims, they really fit into this!

Congratulations to a promotion! :-d

Just wanna say few things about this argument:

- sometimes we all thing that an HOF work shold be stunning with extreme works and a pretty perfect execution

- I've to admit that also an easy kit with a great overall atmosphere can be considered an HOF work... thinking at that I remember Goodie Jaguar or Peppus Lambo Zoom chop or Jackdarton TVR... lot of brush but basically easy and clean works with few tastfully changes

Probably we have to start thinking at the execution level and not at the amount of mods choppers put on a work (I means if a work is badly done results sucks, but if it's executed perfectly the results will be stunning, in a different way from a Hugo chop, but still stunning)...

Last but not least wanna say that this kind of way to judge a work can deserve also at choppers that are not advanced, elite, hypermegagammamighty, to try to achieve this great result (the HOF)... cause, to be totally honest with you my friend, reading some comments I've the impression that you're a bit disappointed that a Pro have HOF with this work...

Now it's all in ZHtuning's hands, he have to put more and more passion and skills to show us all that he has deserved that.

Regards,
Luca

PS: sorry if there are grammar errors, self learning english is not the best way to learn a language :D
