Several ways....
Copy and paste then distort is one... or just copy and paste the bonnet from another car.

If you want to brush it you just have to make lots of selections with the pen tool, and then brush in the right reflections. This takes lots of time and effort... But the key i sjust brushing the right colours, they are often different to what you think.

Hmmm... you have to think tridimensionally... Imagine that the "eye" of the image -the centre- bounce on the hood, and imagine where it arrives. Also look at the reflection shape -in the background base image- and how does it curve...

Doubt that this will actually helps him lol, as graphical things can't be tell using words. But still, Atc's advice is something actually good, try to do it in that way.
