finally got some time to work a bit more on this, softened some edges and added a ic (not the right angle yet i know)

Did some reflection work and added a border kinda thing

anyone got any tips or advice??

Design looks good, but your shades are too flat, use more than one color for the darker parts.
The reflections off the mesh are too prominent, try fading them out gradually towards the edges.
Sideskirt looks nice, but it gets too narrow towards the end. Just select it and pull the bottom-left corner down a bit.
