Help identifying an old car.

I'm having trouble identifying a car picture I found on a public domain picture site. Whoever uploaded it didn't bother labeling it other than "old green." I'm thinking it's European, I was thinking that the grill looks like a mid '30s Alfa, but I haven't been able to find anything close. A friend on another site thought maybe Fiat...but again,I can't find a match. Does anyone know what this car is? Any help would be appreciated.

Most likely not an Alfa, it's very un-Alfa like. Alfa Romeos back in the pre Second World War such as p3's and post Second World War were very, very prestigious cars, think Bugatti Veyron of the time, but times a million. The grill, lights and guards remind me of Fiat, kind of like the Topelino styling cues. The problem with this is that the bonnet line is much longer than any Fiat and it also looks to me to be too old to be a Fiat, it looks pre-Fiat automobile manufacturing, to me this looks mid thirties. I'll have a look for you in a little bit, and see if i can find out for you.

Thanks so much, that should help a lot. :-d I tried reading the hubcap but for some reason I was reading it as o-e-r-o...the word aero never occurred to me. That link should help me figure out some features to chop. I'm thinking this is a good candidate for some brushing practice and maybe a bit of a 'what if it was being built today' type of chop.
