Looking very good man, nit sure what those things are supposed to be in the vents either side of the IC? Kinda look like mini radiators or IC's, they'll need a little work.
Apart from them i love it, far side of the carbon lip looks brilliant, the reflections are ace.
This is going to rock tbh, its great that you keep updating too because it gives people a chance to see how you work and in what kind of order you do things.

and btw barker, theyre oil coolers and you're right, they did need a little work, so ive worked on them a little now

so, its update time again, i've been hard at work on this today and i've probably spent about 3 hours just doing the central element of the fb.
all the carbon is brushed, I've not been using the normal cf tutorials or anything, just a LOT of trial and error and tonnes of layers
also thought the biggest vent under the headlight was a bit, well plain and empty looking, so I found a fan and did some brushing on that so it wasnt still silver and brushed the honeycomb over it (found a tutorial for that because i really didnt want to c+p some honeycomb and then delete every single cutout)
as mentioned above, the oil coolers have been worked on (some piping included) and the front splitter is now cf as well.
All refs are brushed too because I really want to challenge myself with this one

anyway, enough essay writing, you want to see a picture!

This is old school at the sickest level of chopping; which I love. However, I don't really like the design.. too many vents going on etc. ALTHOUGH; the imagination, time and effort put into this type of work, well makes me like the kit... if that makes sense? I think the work you have put in here is sensational, you have good patients and excellent ideas. I simply love this WIP so far and I hope you finish it. Well done dude!

@brian, you're right about the hovering paint, and again you're right because its just part of the wip process, dont worry it'll disappear soon enough
@BCS, I completely get what you mean, and you're right about the patience thing, this cf part of the car is really time-consuming and laborious, but comments like that are what keeps me going

Anyway, time for an update
I decided to change the tow hook as I didnt like the previous one, fully brushed but needs refs still. Also been brushing carbon fibre on the rest of the fb, has taken hours upon hours just to do that with some basic tones and refs, but i dislike all of the refs on this updated section, so they'll get changed up soon enough.
Added an air filter into one of the vents and another mechanical element into another.
And I think thats it
There are a couple of bits yet to enjoy the carbon fibre treatment on this updated side, but again, they'll soon get done
