!!!!! WOOOOO !!!!!!!!!

Hahaha I'm glad u got into the nitro scene! Once you go nitro you won't go back XD

That's a massive deal for not one but 2 of them!!!!!! I have a fair guess of what they would cost each in Australia...

I read up on the specs too, it's sweet that they have got the .28 size engines, which is cool cos they don't get much bigger on those scale RC's

Now show me some video footage of you jumping it 20ft, and doing a backflip. :D That is two feats that I eventually got my nitro-mt to do after a f*load of practice!

I know what you mean about it being addictive, it's so tempting to go and customize them and buy all the trick option parts like upgrade disc brakes, better engines, custom rims and stuff. There's probably not much more you need to do to these off-road bad boys cos I see they already come with the oversized engine, two-speed transmission and dual disc brakes.. You should build some ramps for it to jump it, it's easy just use thin plywood for the frame, and cardboard for the face of the ramps. Love these rc cars, it's sweet fun, and cheaper than having a hobby of modding real cars of course :D
ha yeah
you can see a video here where the dude jumps on a 2 meter high jump he almost landed everytime on his wheels
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5En6aSzP3-Y
He does a jump at 2,39 wich is insane!

And then he gets really lucky on a jump around 3,38 where the car spins but lands on its wheels hah
its the yellow car one

He has one 4.6 and oen a bit smaller, but uses same parts, they both work and a very good condition reason i got em is cus he has 5 cars from before lol, and they just took space >P
il take some videos of its somtime , i also got a video of my subaru inside a basket course i was driving on friday , il post that once its out .

yeah nitro is nice smells insane lol and its shit loud but as I said its the charm hehe
I am very adicted now, but i think this is a start of a beutiful thing for me >D

This savage i got acutally had a 3 gear ration wihc i thought was insane he drove it today, and he only drove it in 1st gear and i though it was fast as shit aha

That's crazy of them for jumping it on concrete like that, it should be done on dirt!! It's more fun plus it's really easy to snap wishbones and bend chassis's landing sketchy even on hard dirt, so on flat concrete it's 10x tougher on the rc's.

Check this video out if you haven't seen it already http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYqFfoGdDq4 That's a kyosho inferno in that vid, my friend had one years ago, they are insanely fast :D They are a .21 so I could imagine how fast your .28 savage with 3speed gearbox is!

A tip I learned while jumping is you can use the throttle and brakes to control the pitch of the car in the air. More throttle makes the car lean back, while dipping the brakes make it pitch forward. Yeah i love the smell of the nitromethanol fuel too. Don't wanna start a drug addiction to sniffing it hahaha
Here you go Mark pictures of both my savages =D

just had the 4,6 one for a spin the yellow is 4,1
the 4,6 is INSANE! shame there is no reverse , hard to get used to that lol, but damn ! its fast, it spun all over the place, and in circles so fast that it fell over haha
here are some pictures of the beasts, its 1/8 cars =D

Two sexy beasts ,

That 4.6 is f*ing wicked! And love that el camino shell with the blower sticking out of the bonnet! Yeah definitely looking like they're due for a bit of tlc, dissemble them and grease all the moving components, diffs/axles/transmission gears etc clean off the residue from the disc pads I found helps as well, once you've done all that don't forget to use locktite on the screws when you're putting it all back together!
haha yeah , im gonna give em TLC soon , but for now im gonna run the 4,6 just for fun, and il clean both before spring , i will change the savage body to the Ford 100 i bought :D cant wait ,
I drove it today outside in the snow and JESUS its fast, and i only hit 2nd gear and its another gear to hit as well ! its mad,
Its in the bathroom now drying off.

I wil need to buy some grease and get it sorted , and clean the disc pads, i got loads of extras with the cars, and I still cant belive they are mine , and i haven not payed for them yet :D so happy

I wish it was not so loud sometime, i feel bad for the neighbours .
