back to my project

sprayed the shelfs and workbench silver as a base coat also nicked the workbench so it looks like iets damaged over time .. needs more work and weathering







then tested some paint on the colom bridge as a test

second round of today ...

en weer wat verder...

started on the oxygen / acytyleen bottles , not done yet just the start
will get real hoses and a burner attached to that



then painted the engine mount dressed up the v8 a bit and put caster wheels under it








and i want to replace the door to the left so i can build a reception / office where you see the wood laying on the floor , will again add hudge detail to the diorama i think

found some good foam today in a skip on a building site , already had horizontal lines
i can ingrave those deeper and then make vertical ones and create stone walls
that will happen after i cut all the wall panels



cut these panels out



did not want just stone surface , too much stone and a bit boring so i made support pillars
and put panels between them



then added pieces of foam above the windows



and in the left over corners





then i'm gonna do this > make more pillars and glue them on the ones already there
so its thicker and gives more depth

all the following is rough work also everything is still sitting losse as a dryfit

first closed the door gap



then made a peice of wall , now i have roo for a cool office / reception in the corner



then started to make a real garagedoor



used some of the left over windows ....



a rough set up , will make a serious one with real sections (rolling)
just looking how it looks and i can add a second row of windows also



do the poles like on the other wall

What size is the whole thing by the way? It does look quite large in the latest pic.
Could we get a banana in there for scale?

i did not messure it but for a 1/25 garage its pretty big
mostly they are a lot smaller
but its not hudge also
just a good size to put enough stuff in it and still have room for cars etc

i will try to put something in as reference
