Nice idea going on holidays with 20". Gl/hf with any punctures, huge difference in speed measurement, increased fuel use + lack of comfort.

Let's bring some life in this thread. Finally (two months ago actually) I could buy my first car. I'm in love with almost every old VAG especially with Golfs and Jettas so I chose the mk2 Golf. It took me about a month to find a good one or at least something that seems to be good
And there he is. I named him Edward, first he was Eddie due to the plate. By the way it is a 1.8gti 8V with Supersport gewindes sitting on snowflakes currently. There are some issues I need to fix but it runs fine and eats about 9l/100km.
Plans:
-256 brakes on the front and I'll have to change the brake facings and discs because they are really used now.
-Some work on the body, I have rusty parts and the doors sometimes don't want to open especially on the driver's sid.
-I would like to do something to the paint because it's not the original and it's pretty ugly.
-Centra Turbo wheels for the summer or if I won't find maybe 16" steelies with Passat B6 hubcaps.
-Refurbish the gearbox and the gewindes. 2nd gear can be noisy sometimes..
-Getting a subwoofer and an amplifier.
-New double headlight front with hella stickers on the small headlights.
-Maybe I will be able to get a Hella bodykit. It would look really nice with the Centra rims. Sadly I'm too lazy to ps it
Overall I will have tons of work to do but I love it. His like my best friend I hope he won't let me down. Here are some pictures:

What year GTI and what engine (how many kw)? Looks pretty decent judging by the pictures, really needs some mesh wheels in my opinion
