Haha ok guys, you win. If you want to work with Excel, do it. I cant do anything against it.

But i think a clean code would be faster and much more easier for all of us.

In the long term yes, would help reduce error and possibly allow for automated vote collection...
But meh - it's a lot of effort

REC, if you want to build a code for this go for it. I was just doing this to make it a little easier for the admins to tally votes, but if you can remove the work from admins (the vote tallying process) and make it faster, all the better.

i like the sound of this, something different and well worth a try
also think we should have a wtb but for a single person, no teams and you battle against your rank so its fair :-d
I think that sounds really good REC. I'm loving the idea of the first two qualifying rounds. I only think that there might be a few too many head to head rounds.

Just had a read of REC's Idea, I actually quite like the idea of first 2 Elimination rounds.

If everyone agrees on the format, then I'll get on to the Team registration section when I can.

But who's going to be in the judging panel?
Because we are going to need people who are not entering, who have been in the chopping scene for years and not bias to teams.
