This thread needed a revival, so I went and dug it up :P

So who's playing what games at the moment?

I've been playing Just Cause 2 quite a bit lately. Love the game. It's quite a lot like the GTA series in a way. BUT the best part about the game is the size of the map. It's freaking massive, like 42 square kilometres or something. Forgot about Skyrim where it takes you like 1 hr to walk across the map. This game takes you 1hr to DRIVE across!!! Or about 10 minutes in a Boeing 747 plane (which you just stole). The free roaming aspect is brilliant just for the scale of it, plus you can parachute and base jump from anything. There are also sometimes rather interesting missions you have to complete.

One of the coolest things I found in it is this - it has the WHOLE island from the TV show Lost in it - The developers put it in there as some kind of a joke or something.. Your plane even mysteriously crashes if you try to fly over the island lol. I'm not kidding, Google it!

Also on JD's advice (from ages ago) I finally got myself a copy of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Not bad I must say. Been playing it here and there in between Just Cause and enjoying it.

Lastly - Mass Effect 3 is almost due to come out, can not wait for it.

Edit: Here it is, I just saved you googling it: http://www.gamesradar.com/lost-island-hidden-in-just-cause-2-10/

I'm still playing Uncharted 3 online but I have started getting back into NFS Hot Pursuit as well. And also AC Revelations! I dunno how I got time for all of this but somehow I do! :D
I 'm playing GT4 in these weeks... I bpught it 5-6 years ago, when I was a child (now I'm 14-15, like Tuna). At the beginning I can't set up cars. Luckily, one day I lost the savedata and I had to start all again. Now I have more than 100 among supercars, lightweight, sports. All of them are tuned, and in each of them I wanted to make a version that go well both in track and in th city or country. In GT4 i found a lot of mechanic customizations, from the suspensions to the gearbox. I think that who have it or the 5 one is very lucky.

Is Uncharted 3 a really good game? Everything I've heard about it says the storyline is brilliant, but what about the actual gameplay.

That's the first time I've heard anybody say they're lucky to lose game data :P Over 100 cars! Sounds like you've really been playing that game alot
Haven't played Uncharted 3 online, but I think the gameplay was excellent in campaign! It felt really dynamic, an awesome experience. Not many games that can compete with that experience imo!
Im still just playing Forza 4 and BF3.

It is. Story is very good and fun to play through. Some epic scenes in there too!

I don't have much experience on fps type of games so I can't really compare Uncharted 3 game play to them (I know you're somewhat into those) for example. I don't see anything wrong in the game play for this kind of game. Sneaking around and fist fights has been done way better in Batman games but for a hectic gun tag type of game this is fantastic! 'd say I have enjoyed the co-op challenges the most.
The game does sound alright, and I actually don't mind a bit of these 3rd person style of action games. I may have to pick this game up after I finish Just Cause 2
Hit me a message when you do so we can arrange a gun action date online yeah!
