I can now officially welcome the 2010 drifting season! Went out to Rudskogen today to shoot some at the Powerdrift License Day, but I definitely didn't account for the weather that was to come! The forecast told me there would be sun and 10 degrees celcius, so I didn't bring anything other than a sweater and a wind jacket - oh, the mistake. Sun, wind, rain, snow and hail in a crappy mix, which also made shooting very difficult because of the shifting lighting conditions. That, combined with my FUBAR'ed camera turned out to be a bad combo, and I only managed to get 200 shots before I nearly froze to death and had to go home. I wasn't letting the weather stop me from having a good time though, it was really nice to see the familiar faces again for the first time since September, and I'm looking forward to the next time! :D

Here are a few shots that I processed tonight, might do a few more tomorrow, but this proves the poor result of the day :(

Feedback is, as always, welcomed! :)
Some of the shots are visibly very sharpened, but that's only because of my farked up camera house which won't focus properly :(

I had to include a shot of these two guys even though the shot itself suck. They go absolutely balls out in their cars, which both are built to scream home made. They are ridiculously cool, and the lads won't go home before they've smashed some kind of body panel against a wall or tire barrier! Balls out!!

I'll round it up here with a couple of hiding behind tire barrier pics :)

God damn I love them pics. and it's amazing how you managed to focus at the cars as their going at such high speed.

Are you using USM lens or standard zoom ones? and are these pics RAW / edited? Because they always tend to have a bit of an HDR look which is really something special.

oft that last pic is super nice!
Shame about your camera, get it fixed man! :)

Not think of doing any colour treatment to your photo's?
Your potrait photo is really nice! wonder if you could do teh same to your drift photo's
I like you.
I just bumped up the contrast and colours this time, didn't go for the artistic look as I've done before. Might do some versions later on though, but I'm tired of processing now xD
Could create an action and just batch them, quick way of doing it but then you could look through and change a few things :)
I like you.
Hmm Raw processing just looks like cs3 with the contrast, brightness, curve and all. But your picture look like Hdr's :omg: , make me wonder the steps you took to make them o.O

Oh, Any chance you can do a print screen of how your raw photo process program looks like, because i think my one is a bit basic.

Turns out I can edit pics via cs3, but i just need to know you processing method :mrteeth:

2nd one has a bit to much noise for me likes :(

Looks a lot better don't you think??
I like you.
Bit over the top for me :P I can go with the ones from Round 5 (page 1) though, but since these are to be used by an automotive blog I figured I should go for reality.
