why do I keep thinking these 2 look so different

the release version looks actually better than the press photos

Yeah I don't think the rendered version is as flattering, especially on the side of the car which has much more muscular lines than what it seems from the release photos (in the shots by Ferrari the side seems more sharp lined... doesn't flow as nicely).
