Beautiful :) I like the original gas cap btw,and it's part of the Chargers identity, so I'm glad you kept that, I think it would look better with the fake scoops on the side more visible, but it's too late to change that... :)

went on and painted the underside of the hood matt black .. just enamel with a hand brush

1536438_438751042924478_1744478355_n.jpg

married the chassis / interiour and body and tbh it would not go together .. the underside of the side of the body is so much shaped inwards pfftt .. in the end it requiared some sanding and a lot of patience but it fitted

here you see the dials .. i had to stick the decals behind the glass with tape ... there was no back plate .. but they look soo good that red dial almost looks real hihi
the side of the front window shows , that will be painted black

the deal is done my sons vette is now on some cobra wheels haha he didnt mind :)

but ... usually on mock up and styrene stage i change the suspension so it makes sense .. now i could not and the body and chassis cant go apart , to much risk of damage ...

so i took off the stock front suspension and took one from a i shall not name the car brand kit and i will use that to put the rims on ..
now i'm going to be hounest at this point its hard to make something realisctic .. if i knew this before i would have cut out the stock wells and made more roomy ones and made sure i could have suspension like it should ..

so i will make something new that looks attached and .. but it wont become 100% accurate or realistic i guess ..

10155311_438967382902844_385733797_n.jpg

also the wheels didnt have brake discs .. and for the modern toutch i want big brakes so other discs from 1/25 kits are too small ..
i took a hub cap and drilled out the center its about perfect size .. i willd rill holes in the disc and make it more metal later on .. then make brake calipers and stuff

well not this article .. cool , but i have friends who are into the rc drifting and a couple of guys they know have opened a indoor drift track .. with all dressed stuff like garages and ...

but def. very cool .. the cost is whats keeping me from going for rc ...

ps those rc cars are a looot bigger then my static cars lol

oh and these days you can buy jkust about anything from engines and turbo's , intercooler and what not to jap style exhausts ...
mijnlogo.jpg
Yeah I thought those things must be around half a meter in length being rc cars.
