whow tuner thats one cool engine did you know they make scale engines that work ??
everything is done , even a ferrari on perfect scale .. if they would find a small enough person or a toy would come to life they could really drive it , got a clutch and gear box , drive train everything works even the speedo


did some clean up on the body and repainted it , then decided to test the clear on the hood ...

hmm looks great it turns from chrome to silver metallic and a nice darker tone .. this was like a test how this stuff would react ..
i wont use it anymore to paint a body .. the silver slivers on the edges , maybe it will go away after the clear dryes ..

the effect is kind of cool when you look at it for real .. but not what i needed haha







put the engine in teh chassis



and the exhaust , driveshaft and axle assembly



where i glued the exhaust to the headers it needed some convinsing .. when dry i will flatten the transistion and put some chrome on there



there is more that i need to detail paint on thye underside but for now its on and in

painted some black on the bottom like there where blocks under the exhaust like spacers now painted black you hardly see them



also pianted some chrom on the front where the exhaust meets the headers , not a 100% but .. and i was bummed because i missed the lines on the mufflers .. should have flattned those ...



painted the grille and headlight front black

i stripped everything also because the silver wasnt perfect , that paint is real thin .. so i will start over

90% there , only have to flatten it again , get all the stuff out of the small corners etc and primer it

just got it flat again ..

now i made some more changes , removed the smal triangle windows , the whole raised line that runs under the side windows and on the top of the door and rear quarter / wing , removed the moldings on de top side of the rood and removed the molding between the roof and body ..
also cleaned the airvent ...

i reconed that fits in the clean and modern theme .. also easyer with sanding the last primer off

either i put like 19 inch modern rims under it (need to buy those) or i go this route >>

i decided even though my previous build also was painted black to put black on the body , silver or black are the best colors ...
maybe i will get silver and do a two tone ..not sure yet

after the previous post i cleaned up the grille a bit and held the rim i put together by the car ...i think it needs nice
19" wheels this for me looks to stock , not the look i was after



dryfitted it with the grille and hood , loosely in there still but it looks nice i think

a while back i got some bmf from somebody i know , i had gold , chrome and dark chrome .. the chrome didnt stick i think it was to old .. the black chrome was fine but that turns black ..

so i rubbed of the black and had nice bmf .. it went well ...

but ... i removed some trim like on the side and under the front window .. wanting a smooth body and more modern ..

so in the end i removed the bmf and i will keep that black





so now just blak .. placed the rt logo in between the tail lights and put in the reverse lights , they are deeper inside with a chrome reflectorbehind the lens



washed the fuel cap with black .. i should have made that sit flush with the body would have been nicer sunk



the kit provided 3-d chrome r/t logos i put 2 on the front wings and one on the hood and washed them with black
