Larger, because frankly, I don't see a difference to the previous. Even in modern real cars the edges between car parts can be as much as 5 millimeters. Try making a proper gap between the body and the headlights first, then chamfer the edge with a good value. I don't know your working scale so I can't really give a number to start from. And another thing, all your edges are too sharp.

See how even the sharpest edges are slightly round and you can see how the reflection bends in those areas. Your chamfers are so sharp that there isn't any definition in the reflection or shine. Also look at the clear gap between the body panels and the headlight.
