second real 1/24 kit i build in my life ...







there was a wood effect in the plastic , and some didgy looking wood decals
i thought well that looks like ....so i desided to take a chance and open it up
and try real wood





decides it looked cool so started to cut it all open















matt army green + clear coat = oldskool green color

















painting the grill chrome and using this watery black acrylic paint on waterbases
gives you a wash to create a real life effect

washing with some mixes of paint to create .....

the previous shown wood looked terrible so i decide to use wooden coffee strirrers

just did some dryfits on the nissan





then set the stance at the front and fixed the wheels ...
added the rear bumper with taillights , i really love the black and baby blue theme
something fresh and different instead of the usual stuff

put the front end on there



rear needs some sort of custom axle made .. and the right ride hight , still trying some stuff







rubber window moldings





started the front , needs some clean up the lines where a bit weird there
its like a edge of 1 mm toy have to paint o.O

also bought this >> a opel blitz truck , gonna build it hotrod style and turn it into a car transporter (oldskooL) / GARAGE TRUCK

yesterday i finished painting the moldings , then added a decal on the trunk and washed in the panellines with some black watery wash
then gave it one more coat of clear

today it went quick everything was dry and i could put it together for 90%

still need to put on wingmirrors , make a rear axle and put the rear wheels on

because on all pics the rear wheels just sit loose under the car ..

rear will get some mild camber as well

and well before i always was crazyrichard (is my name on most forums)

btw the mechanics finally got a nice hotrod in the garage and had to polish some stuff ...
so now the polish wheel is used and dirty like it should be o.O



when they get a fixed place in the garage i will run powerlines to the drill and polish wheel and make small switches

It's definitely time to change your name to CrazyRich here too now Either you are incredibly productive, or you have been collecting photos of these projects since you were a teenager (well, I remember the two first hot rods aren't brand new, but still )
I just love how you 'fixed' the speedwagon

when i come home from work i usually do half an hour to one hour and after dinner like 2 hours atm
just sit , play some music and get building

tbh the guys at the modelforums also say i'm quick , but then again thats also said about me chopping pics
i just go for it with no destractions on these things , and its a real passion otherwise i would lose interest very quick

but def. all brand new stuff

ps ounce when i was a teenager i glued togheter a modelkit .. hmmzz you dont want to know how that looked <_<
