just thought i'd thrown in a suggestion linking into what some others have said,

i like the idea of having a focus on car design as a broader spectrum while keeping the core focus on 'chopping' and 'renders.

for example i love reading about rich's model cars or the photography that j_hui takes. because at the end of the day we love cars and their design so would love focus on other things too.

this doesn't necessarily have to be at in a ezine maybe just section of the site where perhaps you spotted a cool car and took some pics or went to a car show (like speedhunters but way way more casual and fan orientated rather than media run) i went to a car muesem last week so i'll throw up some

Thank you for the great suggestion!

Tetra, we're feeling what you're saying, we want tailor the site pretty much how you mentioned it just there. Having Autemo as a site that caters predominantly on chopping and renders as the core focus, yet branches out to the broader spectrum of car design is something that I think is a good direction for all of us to aim towards. I personally would love to see us start putting more value and emphasis on getting back to the traditional medium - like sketching and things like that where the designing truly starts with car design.

The challenge as I see it is managing 2 different sides of the coin here on autemo. One side wants the car design and background info, the other side just uses the car as a medium for art and wants to go the artsy direction. It's no secret which I'd prefer but I imagine we cant satisfy both.
