actually i would use the dark spots as an advantage and try to make something out of the epic contrast it would give and just wrap some highlights around it, my brush style aint nearly as clean as yours, but you probably get what i mean, so i did a 5 min sketch of what i mean for you since one pic say more than a thousand words

just look how it goes on the red car in bg to start with
or then do something similar than what tomii sketched

First look at this wip and damn this is smooth

the red one is a genesis coupe, and it has strong refs the go from the back all the way to the middle/front of the car, which means i'll have to redo most of the ref work that's already done
tomii's sketch look really nice, might go with something like that considering the deadline is approaching
in the mean while, played a bit with a studio bg, wanted to see how it will look, plus how does the glass look? not quite satisfied with it, and this rim will not be the final just experimenting something (Naks i'll send you the donor, as soon as i find it , still searching ) the final set i'm keeping as a surprise
