Not to start a fanboy war, but I've been looking into mac products recently, including the 27" iMac, and i have to say, that there is no way I'm going to dish out money on apple products any time soon. If only on a nano or a touch.

Thing is, I'm not the average joe when it comes to using computers, so every problem I have with windows, I can deal with it. And i agree, vista is a load of bullshit. Hence why I'm using Win7 since the beta came out.

@ iMac 27" - Looks cool and stuff, and the spec is finally something good. BUT. As usual, the bang-to-buck ratio is awful, I could build 2 i7-equipped high-end pc's for that price :(
And since I am a poor student, and haven't got the opportunity that my parents buy me toys whenever I want, hence, macs are not worth it.

I'm just a PC person. Don't even start speaking about how much better mac (and its OS) is. Cause I know my windows.
couldnt have put it better myself :D

still, it's like a 3 legged dog.
Hello.

I agree with you actually. If I had a choice I would have had a really powerful custom pc made. However I actually won a AUD $700 voucher to an electronics store from a golf tournament, so it's better value for me to buy a mac and pay the $800 difference, than go get a pc custom made.

fair call , yeah man i dont wanna start anything

i only said 27" coz its the biggest

well i am the averave joe and i dont know much about building computers , but if i wanted i could fully strip and re-build , an iphone 3g , a 12" mac powerbook or a diesel engine

the only reason im saying "go mac" is cause i can name several friends that have used pc and prefer mac

but if you have the knowledge and the want to build up your computer , then dont buy a mac , but if you are just going to use the internet , photoshop , itunes and a few other programs , then a mac will do fine , plus you dont have to worry about internet security at all

Let's have something negative for a change.

Well, what pisses you off?

I'll start out:

This guy I know who always tell me things I don't care about, and he keeps on doing it. Every single day.
sorry
