Yes you're right. I hooked it up with my pc. I connected my tv screen with my computer via HDMI. Awesome to watch HD Youtube on that thing. I often also watch the high res images of chops on my tv screen.

i got the bumptop dektop program , allows you to 3-d go though a chamber and trow your icons around..
i cant actualy trow the icons and they just slide along the surface

i made the floor , walls , painting and door/windows myself in ps and put them in the program ..
you can make what ever you want , its vasicly a cube where you can go through

this was the first set up i made i want to make a new one one day and put more time in the design

its cool because you can put sticky notes on the wall , trow stuff around , the icons all ate loose and can even be rotated just by taking hold of it with your mouse

you can even stack folders into a high pile (on top of eitch other) and browse trough them easely

its just fun and basicly i would not want to go back to a boring flat desktop

haha that does sound pretty cool! I like the way it looks, It'd be an interesting desktop experience. It almost reminds me of quake/hexen/doom.. those early 3D computer games if you've played them. Also I love that picture you have in there.. Brunette girl working on her bobber, couldn't ask for more than that. And lastly, do they have this mod program for windows7?

well the oldskool feel is because i made the flat stuff myself and put it in the program as separate walls and a floor
if i would do that with more efort it would look better
the program itself provides you with themes and more smooth visible stuff ..

its called bumptop and you can find it for windows 7 yes..
i dont know where i got it , i found a topic about the program and started too look for a download , it seemed the makers deleted the download , and only had the program up for free download for a short time (at least thats what i understood)
but just keep looking and i'm sure you will find it

you could even have a 3-d box of chops (idea idea)

waight this got me thinking , if somebody here would make pics of there room , and send it too somebody with bumptop they could make the room 3-d in bumptop as desktop
