Looking great. The body is so super smooth, you must have used a lot of hours sanding it before painting it, just a few pages back it was all just bits and pieces XD
Awesome.
And as a flames guy, offcourse flames make a car better. They always do that ;)

actually no zyko , i have this filler primer and spray it on nice and thick , the next day its sandable and i just sand it for like 15 minutes and its ready for paint ..
got to remember ist only suck a small body ... :mrteeth:

thnx guys !! and david thats why i wil do only a minimal bit of salt weathering , i wont do any on the hood , roof and trunk , just on the lower part of the sides a bit like a mild spray from the wheels ...

got the body mounted on the chassis , put the front wheels on..
rear wheels will sit more outwards i made shims and sprayed those chrome those are drying atm

bend some pipes from a corvette gasser kit , are now drying with some chrome paint on them

well not really made a diorama but ....i put it on a white blanc painters canvas and printed out 2 a4 pics of the bonneville salt flat mountains and sky ..
then took the pictures , nothing is photoshopped i only cut the pic to size so only the canvas and printed pictures where in the frame ...
on one picture i cloned one mountain a bit to make it wider ..

would have been easy to chop something in the bg , but i wanted to do it this way .. in a way i think this looks better then chopping a bg..
also now you set the car in front and you can see what you are doing and the angles and ...

That looks absolutely delightful! With some more work to it, that could become a pretty sweet diorama mate :D
