ms paint......
naaaa ps cs3 is great had 7.0 before and the only reason i like cs3 is its faster than 7.0 used gimp once didnt see much difference between the 2 programs guess it would be cheaper tryed paint shop pro for 5 mins it was great and i think if you messed with it for a while you could get some great brushes for refs and stuff.
umm... you only need an abr viewer, convert each brush to .pngm and after that you could insert it in paint shop pro.
I hear gimp is a good program and free too(last I heard).

Oh and it's not just a filter in photoshop there's a liquify tool under a menu that you can use.
It's usually just for a laugh but it can be used well particularly for photo retouching as you can kinda push features around a lil bit(obviously only subtley).

Doesn't Photoshop have the exactly same thing under "Filter | Liquify" ?

ur right but in Paint shop you it's only a brush ..

but in photoshop it opens a new window wich is sucks .. cause we need to see the result in the same layer in the same window..

also in photoshop you have to set the layer under the layer u want to liquify ... so it' gets harder when you have more than 400 layers ..

thnx for sharing the info guys..

that's why i made this topic :) ;)
Guess what, I'm still using Paint Shop Pro 9.0
I'm just used to it now and can do the same things ppl do in PhotoShop! (I think ;p)
You're right you could make the same, only the way is a bit different ;)
Hey guys, anyone who wants a cheaper version of PS but doesn't like gimp, there is a great program available from Corel. Corel Photoimpact X3, it has 99% of the features that PS does, and as an added bonus there is a forum available where you can get a rather extensive education on how to use it for free. It's at http://photoimpact-international.com/forum/ but if you go there please be aware that most of the members are older women who got nto it because of scrap-booking so please be nice. If you do check it out be sure to say hi, I'm a moderator over there.

The program itself is on sale now, I think it's about $60. It's pretty close to PS in it's use, and can use most PS plug ins.
