After playing for a while you'll learn where to run etc. I had a trail of 50 zeds after me yesterday after firing the dinner bell, realized that it was a stupid thing to do, ran through the school (it's in both Cherno and Elektro) and lost them all. Great success. You should also check out the firestation when you're in the bigger cities (the red rectangle on the dayzdb-map) as that's the only city-based military loot spawn except for military tents outside Berezino, Stary Sobor and Balota airfield.

Well shit. My 12 day character with 730 kills. Just alt-tabbed to check the dayzdb map, and returned to this:

I haven't had the time lately, plus we've ended the server lease and are now going on to a private hive. That server should run more smoothly and not contain any major bugs. It'll be nice not to manage it ourselves too.

No idea. Presumably I got mauled by zombies while checking the map after alt-tabing, but I'll never know
