So, I was gonna change the springs and shocks, because one rear spring was broken, and one front shock was worn out/leaking. Bought an H&R sport spring kit (-30mm) and a set of adjustable Konis.
As I started to dismantle the left rear strut, it became apparent that the lower bolt was pretty much stuck. Tried for a few hours, but then I gave up. A friend of mine who came by the day after wanted to have a go, but we only ended up breaking some tools instead...
So I bought some metal-cutting blades for my sawzall, and started again this Monday. Ended up having to cut the lower bolt on both sides of the damper, as the middle was rusted stuck to the damper, and on both sides of the car.

The front struts was what I thought were going to be most difficult, since the shocks were only inserts and required me to cut and paste the Koni with the original strut/damper. Luckily no stuck bolts here, and a pretty straightforward job tbh.
Heres me cutting the first damper to rebuilt it. Still have one more to go as I'm writing this, so no new pics of the whole car.
