Why is the size maximum 725? -> the post wide is 800 pixels, chops most also being 800 pixels.

And mine new signature (800) pixels isn't removed.

It's not been removed because it's not clearly too big.. and no one has noticed yet.

As for "this thing" - it's there for people who have signatures that are too big - admins will force you to use it.
As for chops... we say 800px so that it doesn't take forever to load. Autemo resizes them to 750px or something...

The point is, large signatures, lots on a page take a lot of loading.. and a lot of pointless space. As long as they aren't stupidly large there shouldn't be a problem.
