i have a free day today and the weather is awsome so i continued the debadging
first i washed it , debadged the rest and polished away all the little tarmac specs on the paint and stuff of trees (that sticky stuff)

also fixed the license plates with bolt so its not that easy to steal them
i wanted to get rid of the black surrounding plate but some idiot drilled holes on the far corners of the plate reses so i have to have a plate holder :crybaby:

i ddint even dry of the car after washing and it needs some wax , already shines like a .....







at the front the licens plate has a dent , gonna order a square plate this week

after working today i went straight to the wheelshop :ges_clap2:
saw the rims for the first time and went whooowwww :wub: looked stunning..

so i started talking about the fact i want blue bolts and he had them in stock from RAYS , blue and the correct size , it was a set for a 5 lug car so i have 4 spares now .. cost 100€ but the normal price was 150€ so i got A 50 € discount .. still expensive for some bolts..
they weigh nothing , really weird when you hold them in your hand..

(package was full) one of the bolts (for eitch wheel) is "anti theft"

pics on the car , and yes this is 17 inch , due to the choice of this type of spokes / the edge and some 195/40/17 tyres they dont look hudge at all , size imo is spot on !!

on the first pics the car was not settled yet due to the fact it was jacked up





imo it looks tight , less screamy and just racy



on this pic the car was jacked up on the other side so it was lower here , we reconed it was about 4 cm lower so with springs it could sit like this (hal a centimeter higher then)...



at home after driving ...








the steering feels much heavy-er but i dont feel it is much slower , tbh when you floor it it is a tiny bit slower picking up ...and its a bit harder with these tyres but it drove quite nice ..
sure the stock lightweight rims drive best but look wise i think its the perfect balance now ..

ooo nice, think it could do with a tiny bit (not ott) lowering. i have a feeling mudflaps wont look too bad on it to if you want a rally/race style.

also please cut out the minging yellow mesh in the headrest, i hate that on this car

I had doubts about these wheels suiting this car - but how wrong I was. They look awesome on, and give it that sporty edge. As mentioned before, tiny bit of lowering, not over the top- and it will look delicious

Need to do something about that rear arch man, you can practically see to the other side through that wheel. Those discs are tiiiiny. Overall it looks like a nice little shopping cart now though.

lowering will follow later on , still nit sure and i want to do some messurements first..
its either 3,5 cm lower on springs ....

or remove a lip of the inner arch (steel one inside witch is already small ..) and go adjustable

my hart says adjustable , my mind says springs

pro's springs 3,5 cm > cheap(er) , drives normal (no probl. on speedbumps)
pro's adjustable > looks even better and will do a proper drop then .. but a lot of downsides also

i think it will be just springs , it will look good , still drivable etc....

and @construct , that shopping cart hauls ass
already annoyed a few fast rides by sticking to their bumpers

yesterday a porsche boxter driver looked in his mirror and started to gun it , i shifted back and followed him ...
he was not amuzed
sure in the end i would loose but he couldnt really loose me i kept close

i would also like to buy some sparco floormatts , with blue logo's , the stock are worn..

and i have been looking at sparco seats .. would be cool .. also would love dome bride seats but i found some in holland and they went for 1400€ eitch

also going to put spacers at the back side .. the wheels are in line perfect put optical the rear looks more inside (flares are wider at the rear)

also got a new square lisence plate made today ...
looks way better

what i like most is the fact the car is less screamy now without the white rims ..
i loved the look of the white on blue but now i'm glad i went bronze ..
it just looks more serious and less boy racer .. racy and yet stylish..

i would know so much stuff to do still , but the money heh

this is SICK rich so much progress so fast! wish I had your wheels would look great on mine just in bronze goldish look

I love you car its great some lowering ,tints and black roof it would be perfect imo
