whell getting neir to completion , will only need to make like a tyrerack and maybe a mobile oil cart , could do a pothole in the concrete ...

yesterday i finished the lantern pole , drybrushed it with olive (matt) and gave it mild rust pigment layer





also added 2 poles with a chain .. that will get some washes and i think i will hang a sign on the chain with no parking

made the no parking sign and made it haning on the chain

well decided after the last post to sit down and finish the chain


gave the chain and poles a brown layer and sprinkeled the chain with some pigment powder , some mild drybrushing on the no parking sign , for me this really made such a difference and it ties in so nice

i think with outdoors / daylight pics it will come acroos better on pictures

then decided to shorten the pole of the tyre sign , i just got the idea it was to tall and i was right after shortning it just was so much more balanced with the rest

on the base of the pig pole i made some grass like it grew over the base plate , also added some grass over the edge of the lantern post ..
i also want to do more gras along the sides of the wreck



took some pics in the garden , colors pop more ... i see the pole is sideways lol i need to straighten it

I think the pole doesn't need to be straight either, it looks more realistic ,with all the rust and junk, if it's leaning a bit. If you add some holes in the concrete it will be enough to call this diorama finished (ut I gues you will still find some more detailing to add )

no i think i wont be adding a lot , its more things like add some grass along parts , and a few smalls on the building .. but its very close to completion

a very rought start of a tyre rack / display .. used old sprue and some styrene plate .. kept it a bit rough ....




the (half) tyre is from a opel blits kit 1/24 .. painted the rack a base yellow and the tyre matt black , later i will ad dunlop logos just like on the big pole
and add a wash (mild) to bring it to life ..
i just made a fantasy shape / rack .. a bit bulky but i wanted something to tie in with the bog pole ..
like they would have that certain style of advertisement displays and signs ... (made up by me lol)




also adds color in the dio .. the tyres are just for a idea .. i will put in some tyres that are more time period correct

first drybrush with oilpaint , now i need to messure the space for logos and make some logos for the rack

made the logos , same as on the big sign , took 4 nice tyres , best quality on scale those soft rubber ones , awsome detailed thread and side ....
