i dont fancy the chat box. You say something, and then bugger off. And then come back to only see random spam from the last 3 minutes, which pretty much renders it useless for me.

Ill stick to the good ol' post and wait mode

I think the chat box should be visible even when you navigate away from the home forum (like in this thread)
