I think a combination of what's mentioned above could work, showing who voted for what, and instead of having to arrange the boxes, you just tick the first chop for 1st, second chop for 2nd etc. The order you tick them in determines what order you vote in.

I think if you continue to make people sort manually, whether by arranging boxes or ticking numbers, you will continue to have poor results. By chop #8 people will have lost interest and the rest will be done randomly or poorly.

my 1st idea was to have a poll, where you could multi-tick like the top 10 but then a few choppers would have the same amount of ticks. but jack gave me the idea of having a poll but you tick your top 10 in order, not 100% sure how you could make it work but its an idea to consider and look at

I don't know what can we do to change voting system but i think that something should be made!... i'm watching Round 9 result and i can't belive... I lose my desire to improve.
I'm not a pro, maybe neither an intermediate... but some chop in this competition look like a Baby Artist.

For me the only way to have a correct judgment would be leave judging to someone competent and outside this forum

I see what you man Augusto. But outsourcing in this case - meaning bringing in someone from the outside will be both too time consuming for everyone and it will just be a pain for both us and that guy.

Im with Jack's idea! Also what Mark said - when people vote, their name should pop up so they are kinda responsible for their vote and can stand behind it!

I understand your idea but what can i do if i can see every single vote, for every single user? nothing... just use a woodoo doll after because if I (user) wanna vote just for my friend or just for 5/6 chop... well I can!
But if there is a control by an administrator or someone like that, we can obtain better result.

I mean an external jury, without any votes from users.
I said "a competent jury" that can express opinions about the work done by the participants (that can help more then a simple "You WIN" or.. "You are 2nd/3rd...)

beat so many? it's just stupid. There were some chops below this that (imo) could easily have been in the top 10 or even top 5.... something has to change
