The gameplay itself is okay, but as Shift 1 the physics/handling just just horrible.
I havent played it with a steering wheel , but i cant think it will be any better...

Still tbh i find it easier to drive my 1206bhp m3 e30 than a stock car haha xD.

But really, they need to focuse more on the physics, once they nail that it will sell like 999999 copies more...... :mrteeth: :mrteeth:
Old Hondas never die, they just get faster!
I'm quite liking it so far, done most of the game now, just gt3 championship and gt1 championship to go. I hated the drifting to start with, but my 1000bhp+ works 350z makes it so much easier, it can manage 10 sec drifts everytime now I've sorted the settings on it. Thoroughly dislike the zonda f on this though, its so twitchy no matter what I do to it.

So its not worth the money? I am, or should i say was saving up for it. Any upgrades available for it?

you can do the works upgrade on the zonda, looks mental, but it makes it even twitchier unfortunately. the huayra is a much better investment (even if it is nearly twice the price) .
Been playing around with an LFA today in the livery editor, will post pics of it later as i reckon ive done a decent job considering how poor the livery editor is to use.

As promised, heres the LFA i was working on. I was mainly focusing on gradients to add some extra shapes/lines to the car, think it turned out alright :)

And an M3 i did earlier too, used gradients also to add some vents and extra definition to the curves as well as an actual livery.

Its hot looking, some of the parts looked really sharp and fake, is that the original graphic of the game? esp those cf and diffs.
:awesome:

Haha, the thought I had in my mind when I saw the pics: "he stole my wheels!"., They're the same one's as my 3d Merc's got on. :D

Nice livery on that BMW!
sweet jamie!

im really enjoying shift 2 its best at night in helmet cam its really intense racing the AI are like touring car drivers its brilliant! the regular track events are what makes this game so good (as it should!) your thrown right into the action bumper to bumper. its good that you can get in front but have to defend your place and it rewards that with experience points.

not getting on with the drifting though feels really real its just not fun! i dont care if i doesnt have good physics if i wanted that id go to a race track i want fun pulling off massive drift and smoke that i cant do in real life. i would have prefered a simpilar drift setup like in hot pursuit or at least have the option to change between the two so it pleases both parties.

the graphics at points is a little dissapointing and in parts quite bad almost glitchy looking but it seems the way with games lately that they focus on getting games out quickly and not completely finish them to a high quality finish. but this is normally the fault of the games console manufactures not the game studios. id wish they would listen to the people that buy the games rather than worry about time lines and pushing unfinished games out.

i like the video parts with Gitten jr and aasbo etc being fans of these guys and having them gives you tips and explaining stuff adds a nice effect. also the addition of the fia gt series is cool nice to bring some real motorsport into the mix.

the car list is awesome probably the best in any game! honestly gt5 has to many, this is a perfect amount with the cars you would expect to see racing apart from a few zondas etc. all modify-able aswell which is what we expect from nfs games. the tracks are probably the best too. great to have lots of real life ones

hope this review helps!

Had to cheese myself through the last drift challenge today. Was intending to do it properly but there's just no way to get that Falken GT otherwise. Without a wheel I cant finesse my way through it anyway.

NFS RX-8 and drifting til the crashing point is what netted me the most points.

Built an AE86 with full weight reduction and racing interior and a stock Supra engine. best drift car i've had so far. well balanced and can go pretty wide before it spins out. Will make a badass paintjob for it soon. :)
