Nice idea and the execution is also very good.
Careful with these 3D rendered backgrounds though. The person who made it has put a
lot of effort into making it and you're just using it on your own works.

gotta agree here, this can give virtual tuning a bad rep.
Because basically 90% of this is someone elses hard work put into making their own art, and I assume you havent had his permission and theres no credit or mention of them.

The background is out of a Coca-Cola commercial.
I don´t think one person did that. It´s a large company and it´s the job of many people to do things like that pic.
So I wouldn´t call it "their own art".
It´s made for official use and that´s what I did.
And if you see it this way, you couldn´t use backgrounds of 360 forged, too, because of the effects. Just an example. Most backgrounds are other peoples work, even simple photos, cause someone made those photos.
Maybe not that much work, so in a way you are right, but where do you make the line when it is too much work to use it.

i kinda agree with both views, that is why for some time i brushed all, or used own pics or donors that i have asked and been given permission
(but, mostly they dont care, aslong as it is not for any commercial use, but i think they would like to get some credit or permission asked before to make sure)
the idea is rather nice, but somehow lacks the final "something" to really connect it to the scenery better
now it looks bit unfinished, but nice idea and effort too
