is the ref-donor possibly a E92 M3? :P Might wanna dial down the amount of M3 stuff. I'd say, keep the stuff on the side, but rebrush the hood and remove the buldge and do new vents. But that's just me :) It's suposed to be an audi, not a beemer, and this really has potential, and you seem to have the skill to pull it off, so make it more audi :)
