Even I am slowly forming myself with 3D, so I would really like to see discussions on this field here on autemo. Then I think we should introduce a second level level for 3D, for example at the moment I hold the degree '' Pro Tuner '' for 2D and I should be added a second degree, that is the starting point '' Novice '' for the 3D. So we would have:

Novice 2D
Pro Tuner 2D
Elite 2D
-
Novice 3D
Pro Tuner 3D
Elite 3D

I personally think we should remove the ranks. Especially when we're like less than 20 active people.
This is also true.
I agree with Daniel.

Ranks are irrelevant, not because of the number of people, but because they would make sense if there were user votes based on points, number of comps won, number of xxx star chops etc and based on all that you get a rank.

Oh, and if this 3D thing starts, autemo should seriously promote it socially.
Ranks should stay. We must have here some hard rules.
Ranks for 3d, maybe soon when we have more people and activity in new section.
Thats my opinion

We hope it happens. :-d
What do you think about starting to create official comps entirely based on 3D? In my opinion this may be the theme that can make autemo repopulate, practically almost all of us have switched to 3D.

3d is something that seems like the future and in my opinion should be really considered for a bigger role here. There just needs to be someone really understanding it well enough and clear enough rules for it. There seems to be quite a much content in 3d world which is mainly based on some other artists work/stuff from games etc. without proper credit.

So, aslong as rules and everything would be clear enough I think it would be really cool.

Maybe I need to try actually learning 3d myself, but I just like 2d much more :) atleast at the moment.

Thanks for your input ddd racing.

Well, you can simply decide either to use a free base to modify or to build everything from 0, only building everything from 0 takes more time, after which you can decide whether to deliver the vehicle in a determined perspective or free and so on. It is also true that not everyone builds everything from 0, there are those who buy components or those who use free components, but it is also true that many different software are used, but you have to start somewhere and gradually create more and more rules efficient. 3D I think is present rather than future, it is full of artists out there having fun with it. I hope you take this into consideration for 2021.
Any volunteers interested in creating/organising these 3d contests? There seems to be quite a big "need" for more 3d stuff, but personally like I mentioned before I just do not really have any expertise on the matter.
