my selections are all free hand made with the polyginal tool
its certainly not a noob tool it works great and fast and i dont have the patience for the pen tool
i can make as fgood sel;ections free hand
(got to have good eyes though)
sure for the bends the pen tool works best but i prefer the polygonal ..

i think it could be a feather setting although i can get selections without jagged lines on feather 0 (zero)
but i would def. try 0,2 - 0,3 could be smoother

also and i think thats important zoom in on selections

but i really would not have a clue how your selection can be jagged so consistant
almost seems the program settings are screwed / corrupt or something like that (i dont know if that could happen but)

just try the feather setting and zoom in

that's actually ironic because my Photoshop has been acting up and i have randomly lost half of my selections in the 'Filter' section, I can't even chose a 'px' between 0 - 1 in my Polygonal lasso tool. Might have to reinstall it. Thanks
