I have a BenQ 24". love it! GL2450HM. Got it on sale but I don't think they're that expensive.

I've always had good experiences with the Dell monitors. Not sure if Viewsonic still makes good displays but those have always had good color.

It's been a long time since I've used anything but the displays on the iMacs. Right now, I have the 27" iMac and color comes out really nice. I've had bad experiences with two Acer displays. They both died prematurely.

Personally, I love the screen real-estate so having a large display at a high-resolution is a luxury. Having room for all of my panels in Photoshopt, Indesign, Cinema4D etc., is huge for me.

-I work in a magazine company and we all use Dell Ultrasharp 24" ISP. not cheap but damn they are proper good monitors and its non glare so the viewing angle is great.
-At home I run a LG IPS 21.5 monitor its good, but I hate the button less design of monitor

and if you can, calibration plays a huge role in color accuracy, so invest in a Spyder Color Calibration unit (I got a spyder 3 pro at home). I did because from factory my monitor was too blue and the contrast levels was way off and it made a huge difference.

Have yet to make room and be rich enough to run 2 screens XD

Tbh, unless you're using it for some crazy purpose where you need ultra accuracy in colour and all sorts than any old monitor will do.
If you want you can calibrate the monitor's colour with these things, eurgh can't remember.

Most screens are pretty good without any messing around these days.
