1 person liked this.
its much better, its going in good way ;) btw, shadow under the car needs to be dark black if you know what i mean
SILENCE IS BETTER THAN BULLSHIT
Yeah i had it completely black but lowered the opacity a little as there is still some light from where we're viewing it
coming along nicely now :D
I'd be tempted to say make the rear of the car a lot darker, so that there's more of a contrast in the paint.

This might help:

Notice how it gets much darker still,
I find extreme lighting often helps improve the feeling of paint, as often all it's lacking is the high contrast which we don't normally notice with our eyes.

But yeh, like I said, starting to take shape, side and front arch looking very good :D

Just be brave about splashing on what seems like overly dark or overly light colours basically :P
A quick tip, is that often, upwards facing surfaces look darker, especially in dark indoor scenes like this (notice arches in the image below). I'd also be tempted to make the door lines a bit more visible as dark splits, and where the paint meets the line, sort of have the reflections fold (that horizon/ground line thing) so that it doesn't look to flow perfectly across. (Open the two images up in seperate tabs and flick between them, you'll get a better idea)

The plate was throwing the whole chop I felt, the text seemed to wide, and the black was far too bright.

Other than that I must say very well done, you're improving, and definitely your best chop to date.

Cheers for that mate ill give it a shot! It's funny cause ive had your Autemo profile open nearly the whole time ive been doing this for inspiration haha.
And for the darker rear, which looks better now that it fits the envi better, but it also looks like the car has lost some shape because of how soft the darker hue is. Look at the base image. It has a rounded corner (but still a clear corner) on the rear bumper.

Looking well good otherwise! It's very pleasing to see how all of autemo jumped on this and helped out.
Ahh yes i see what you mean just fixed it i think. And yeah I really appreciate the help guys, really wasnt expecting people to open it up in photoshop and show me!
