It's a joke?? Just sunday there was the APR Vag Fest in Friuli... and there are many others event like all the track days in Monza, Varano, Franciacorta (most of them are themed events that grant access only for some kind of car like the "German track day" in Monza). There is also the Auto Kit Show, and last we also have the Drift Championship and the NDRC (Nitro Drag Race Championship).

I'm sure I din't explain well that. Here I have never seen a car with a nice sticker, or with some nice rims, or with a little spoiler... Here I usually see BMW 3.0 TDIs, Merdacess Es, Audi Q5s and Q7s, rarely I see a tuned 106 or Celica. When I has been in London, I just hadn't the time to turn the head to see a wonderful CR-X, an awesome S2000 or a 350Z. What I mean is that in other countries there is more love for his car - not to have the 30.000 km car serviced, but little things that make it a better look.
