2 hours on saturdays or sundays would be great

4 hours is a bit too long for a "flash comp" in my opinion. The aim should be to be able to see the base and the finished product within 2 hours, and then the results within another hour. This would mean the whole comp would be over and finalised within 3 hours - which is really no time at all.

I know that if I'm motivated and solely committed on chopping, I can get some fairly decent (not realistic, but more artistic) brushwork down within an hour, and then do some finishing touches including rims, background, atmosphere, etc. within another hour. It should be good practice for all, and something a little different than the usual.

In terms of the time of the competition, I think if we ran it weekly or fortnightly then we could switch the time around a bit to make sure that no-one is excluded because of their time-zone/life commitments. For example, week 1 might have it at Sunday 1pm GMT, week 2: Saturday 10pm GMT, week 3: Sunday 6am GMT and then keep it cycling through each day and time.

Also, something that hasn't been mentioned is the voting system.

We're thinking of opening this up to the public through Facebook likes and running the voting for an hour. It should hopefully attract some attention for Autemo and our artists as a whole.

I really like the nos coming out of the rims
sounds like fun, and an easy win ;) As long as the comps are announced well in advance I don't think it matters so much when they start/finish.
And 2 hours is an absolute max for a quick chop.
Some men just want to watch the world doing burnouts... :P

You better be prepared for fake accounts on fb while voting.

Or post base via PM/email for each timezone countries at the agreed time :)
My first idea is better, because sometimes you have more important things to do at time...so because is reasonable start countdown after sign :)
