i agree ^^

It would be cheaper for you to import a version like what you want from japan then turning into one,, also I would think about this more, your not getting a very safe car, i would rather spend some money and get aproper car that you can be safe in .
if you want a light fun car, yaaaayy i had one and i love it

Citroen Saxo VTS

1.6 16V
120 bhp
0-100 in 8 sec

And it was one of the best handling hot hatches of it's time so it can handle deep dish rims, actually the ET of the stock VTS rims is 25 i think...

Chop To Express Not To Impress
He already had a Saxo (no VTS though) ;)
To me, Saxo's are very "tin" like, so I wouldn't go for one personally. They're probably a fun little car to rag around though.

Me, I would stick to jap- maybe a Civic or something- you can get one for a pretty decent price to. Or something that floats your boat really. This is just my opinion.

As I always say, once you go Jap, you won't go back!♥ :D
I prefer engine oil and overalls to nail polish and fashion any day♥
Untill you try something even thicker (GERMAN) :P
*sorry for Offtopique*

Seroiously though, I think he really wants to try something different and he has owned quite a few hatches, this would be another civic in the wall of fiberglass XD
i have the same thinks with you man,and i have watch a little car's what you think about the wv polo? it economy car and fast car 1600cc 127hp and its so much economy.
all the cars mentioned above i already owned or dont want ..too many cars out there

there is this civic i can buy , all cool parts , looks awsome .. but usually i tend to stay away from modded cars , i'd rather buy something stock and do it myself
most modded cars are ruined or trashed

also the idea came because this way i could combine cheap ass driving with something unique and cool

tbh i always loved the small / kei cars done up and i find myself searching the web quit often to look at some cool small jap cars

safety imo .. why would it not be safe to slam it and have some cool wide rims ?
sure things wear quicker , but thats just normal , wheel barings get a trashing 4-sure

its like either i spend more and get a normal decent car or buy something cheap and mod it ...

also for me it has to be like i have a vision for a car , polo , saxo etc etc all done so many time by people and i'd rather drive those cars stock then spending money

the wagon r on the other hand >

1. already looks kinda badd ass (imo) i just see the potential so clear
2. its just plain fun to do and make sometging cool out of it
3. its cheap to buy
4. cheap to lower
5.rims i can find everywhere , pcd 4x100 so i can look on the vw forum where they sell so many superstunning second hand rims for low prices
wide steelies for the winter time , also no problem and again relativly cheap
6. i can mod most myself take out the doorpanels and build something decent etc etc..
i have build many door panels , ice systems , build new seat frames etc. so all of that is no problem

in the end i will end up with a cheap car , modded , unique and the mods i know i can do very cheap so its not like i waste money and spend thousands
maybe around 1000€ for all the mods

but i'm still searching and thinking .. could be i wont , but 80% of me says yes i'm gonna do it

Well you have a point but if it's been treated nicely and done well...you are just saving yourself money on the mods the previous owner blew cash on :P
