Negative points on those are:
-Bass can be too loud, you have to regulate it with your music player becuase on min. subwoofer its still too much
-They "Pop".

I use a Pioneer 7.1 amplifier but I only got a pair of Sony speakers. They're like 20 years old but they still sound great! Black wood casings too so they suit into my apartment perfectly! TV, pc and PS3 all go through the amp.
