Nope that's what I like to do in my free time..this is my second project after two years of pausing...

And for this "reference" pic...I actually didn't use it for any reference at all, but when you put it like that, makes me feel like you think I'm cheating?

Here is complete progress in full res, I turned of layers to show you each layer separate and then everything together so you can see how I made it..

uhhhmmm <_< no reference at all? so your friend actually drew that sketch with perfectly made proportions from his head that with a lot of coincidence has the same proportions as that picture you never used reference at all? lol


youre not cheating on anything, and the guy that postes was just trying to be helpfull to you, showing a picture that might be usefull for you, he wasnt saying you where cheating,

but from what i see on a side reff, i admit all you're do is brushing

I guess there was some misunderstanding then.. however, I never said that friend never used that pic for reference, ofcourse he did. I said that I never used it for reference while brushing my chop, because I thought that MeanMachines was trying to point that I cheated by using parts of that picture when he quoted that "guide" part. And for the color - I always brush the car in grayscale and then overlay other colors on top of it. It's just my way of achieving the goal..

..so, I'll keep posting my progress

Here is todays work.. finally picked a bg (http://www.autemo.com/donorcentral/?m=donors&amp;id=4956), and made some more progress on front lip and front wheel arch. Also the whole car was slightly altered to fit the perspective of background better..i used a windsheild from a background car too, it fits my vision and the reflections are already in its place so less job for me to think of..

something doesnt seem right in terms of perspective...either the car is off or the bg but together the two dont work...the whole thing kinda looks like its a rake and from your previous brush wips the car doesnt look to be a rake...and the wheels will work i think
