Got ABB, but you know what this means. I'm going to Coventry to study Automotive Design! Buzzin!!!!!

Coventry really? i went for an open day a few months back and was not impressed. 4-6 tutors : 200 students, none of the tutors have worked in the industry either, which was a major let down, and the city..... i couldn't even find a decent pub! I preferred Northumbria, Tutor to student ratio is 2:25, being only 25 students on the course, each year. In your final year of Coventry you can be looking at a ratio of 7:700!! Coventry's reputation has seriously gone down hill over the years. Never mind, your choice, and im sure you will be happy with it, it just wants for me :)

ps. congrats for getting good results and getting in where you wanted!

oh right haha, good luck ;)
yeah northumbria sucks :P
I mean all the buildings are fancy and new-ish, but I thought the team of tutors were being very 'fake' during the open day and interviews. They had a script and the Italian guy running the show was such a ponce, he'd had one job at Alfa Romeo and apparently that makes him king of the automotive world. I just didn't buy it. Also, I've sampled the nightlife and I can in all honestly live without it, and it'll save me the money!

On the other hand Coventry was very honest. The tutors were grumpy and they told you that not everyone liked it and only the really hard-workers make it. Well I can live with it, it's motivation to do well.

The real reason I chose Coventry was reputation. The name is worth so much in the Automotive business, I couldn't risk going to Northumbria and just blending into the background.
