also did the lines in the raised concrete part where the pumps stand on , would be nicer spread out even over the raised part but that was not a option anymore

added extra protection / crash poles beside the main roof supports and already did some read painting

start of an old looking airpump , compressor under it , the circle will house a to be determened brand of gasoline (logo)

whell worked all day on the paint of the building ...

its a long story but when i just painted it shiney and .. it just didnt look nice and felt soulledss so i could not help myself and weathered it ....
only a rough start so more will follow .. there will be parts that are less weatered later ...

and the roof is next and that has to become superrealistic !!
so i desided tomorrow i will cut of the lousy sign holder of the roof , close that and i will hand cut roofshingles and shingle the roof one shingle at a time , just like irl ... i think that will become awsome



the airmeter in the middle needs more paint , especially on the compressor , some silver and a black belt
in the center of the round top in the reces part will sit a air-dial , like a gauge where you can read the airpressure , will print one and put glass in front of it

i am so amazed what you do is perfect and it is a skill many need years to master and your far beyond that, I love your work mate everything you do to the tiny detail are perfect ! keep up the good work! )_D

btw its very comparable with photoshop , you start as a noob .. you want to design stuff , get better , see awsome stuff other poeple made and if your drive to get better is big enough you just grow into the hobby ...

i was looking at all the chops here lately and it really started to ..... tingle .. like i was hmm would love to sit down and chop something ... sadly no time ...the modelbuilding really grabbed me and its more hands on ...
but still miss chopping .. maybe this winter i will try to do some simple chops that dont take too much time

started on the roof today , used 600 grid sandpaper and cut shingles out of that ..
while gluing them on the sat tight against the roof , while drying they curled like you see on the picture ..
i was like hmmzz but i cant keep them sitting flat it doesnt look real bad though ...

Looking great, I like the curled up shingles, gives it extra realism Detaling is so great that I chose to believe you own a lighter that is 1 meter tall

whell when the glue dryed the shingles leveled out more and got less curl ,

just finished the left side of the front roof , right side i hope to get done tomorrow , its a lot of work (read takes a lot of time)

also made a wooden center piece in the front of the front roof and a wooden clapboard on the left side



dont mind the red on the signholder that will be gone when i have a cool sign there , that red looks horrible
