i'm now on modelcarmag forums and there its like coming home all hotrod related fanatics ..
i can tell you i have seen things there that will absolutly blow your mind

today i moved everything from my workshed into my house , its getting too cold there , everything is cold and eventhough i could place a heater it will never become like real comftable in the shed ..
so for the winter i'm building in my house

started with some lighthousings out of my partsbox , like little bullet shaped ones and glued some lenses on them




then fixed them under the bed







and gave the houses the same rust threatment as the rest to make it beld in and not stick out so much under there












on this picture you see the carbs on top of the engine , need some fuel lines en other detaling



desided to place the window a tad openen like a safariwindow and made the glass slightly dirty , also drybrushed the tryes slightly
and make then less static (i already sanded the tyres before placing them)








next to the coupe on my new winter work area on the dinig table , i cant sit upstairs because i'm remodeling the whole upper floor / rooms

started on the grille and used a ruined ford grille from the coupe kit .
i cut out the closed middle section so i only had the edge



cleaned up the edges a bit



luckely i could salvage this piece of radiator also





then painted this inside black , bitrough but later on you hardly see this , the black is only to give darkness and depth when i make a grille in front
i also made a bottom piece from scrap plastics so the grille is closed again



dryfitting loose in front to see how it looks





then made a top on the carbs



and tried some headlights from the spare kit .. hmm bit big , the bar is cool with the v8 logo in the middle , maybe fit smaller headlights on that ?

dude make your own SHOP! and sell these beast!! so nice work, your like that amzing person that can create shit in an eye of a needle, but just upscaled

I can appreciate all you're work here. I used to scale build many years ago. You're detail is pretty impressive. Wanted to share something if you ever want to make you're own leaf springs you can cut strips of soda cans and solder together. Micro l.e.d.s like the ones in dollhouses also come in handy.

here is a loose testfit of the grille , just sitting loose in front of the car will sit a tad higher (not much )

decided to tone down the rust / brown and do more chrome , changed the ugly headlights for larger ones and did them chrome already put electric wires on them just need to direct them along the engine to the firewall

then made a first set up for the fuell line out of the moontank , drilled a hole and glued in a piece of plastic where the grey hose you see fits in , so it has some depth and looks nicer , the plan is to cut the grey hose right after where it comes out so only a tiny bit sticks out and thenm add a thinner fuelhose inside the grey hick hose








maybe i even put on a chrome sidevieuw mirror (top end side of the windowframe) and chrome doorhandles to break the brown)

also will make the sprak plug wires red

cleaned up some stuff today and made the spark plug wires red .. some better daylight pics

installed the headers , i will ad mufflers to these wich run along the front side of the cab
also put a radiator cap with wings on the radiator , i liked it as a added details

with all the goodies its now coming to life a bit

back in the bed i will be doing some nice details also

the roadster pick-up = finished and done !
maybe i will add some details in the bed later on but for now done
