I dont think Algeroth or anyone else should have to defend their votes. Everyone has their own way of voting, and whether or not you agree, you can't really complain about how low your vote was. You can't govern peoples opinions of your work, plain and simple. However what can be complained about is the people that aren't voting for all entries. There's been several posts where votes fell short, and not because they were from that country. I can only imagine it being pure laziness, but that is what isnt fair to the people that did the work.

anyway, i looked in my division, div4 and i saw some posts no good, some new artist voted but they have couple posts, saw double post(maybe mistake), explane me for the team international what rules there? same as rest? that means some voted for team international, but their countres are im team international. i didnt chek other divisions, but i bellieve there is mistakes such here, so same problems.

Yes "ATC Design", maybe you're right but i think it's not a problem if something doesn't seems correct to me and i write it down in a discussion forum! I didn't asked why we aren't the 1st ones just wanted to join to the group who thinks that the votes aren't in balance every time. You think questioning is silly but i think that thoughtless and irresponsible votes are much more a problem. And i have a feeling that i'm not the only one...

hmm... i do understand where you are coming from, and at times have looked at certain votes and thought "are you kidding?" but if everyone has votes against them at some point it should (in theory) even out...

But everyone has the right to vote in what ever way they want, so long as it complies with the rules... tactical voting is part of the game, and anyone can do it. Yes it seems unfair, but that's life. Sometimes, being selfish is the road to success. Despite this, I make a personal effort to vote fairly.

However, there are flaws in the voting system, something which i think should be addressed when the next WTB comes around.... simple solution however, would be to take the average number of points per team. That way, by not being able to vote for your own country (essentially losing you potentially 10 points) this won't count against you like it does at the moment. But like I said, there will always be some problems, and we'll just have to live with it.

Do votes without all 10 spots filled out count as valid?

1. I prefer the last year voting system when we could see the 800*600 image before the Hi-Res, this way you can take a quick look of overall chops and then go into details.
