To go straight up to the subject, I'm basically doing a project for my last year university, and it's called "Brand Me"; I'm actually selling myself as the product. I want to represent " Peace " and from that, I need your help guys to answer to some questions for my project regarding the way you see me and those questions will help me carry on my project; I will need at least 20 people to answer but everyone is invited

1) I've seen you as helpful, talkative and informative since the first time i started talking to you. You're one of the most genuine people i chat with.

2) First thingt hat comes into my mind when you say "peace" is a white dove... the symbol for peace. Thats just a stereotypical image though but i can't help thinking it.

3) I'd love to see some really in depth research, because a half assed project doesn't get anybody anywhere.

5) My first impression of you was, as i said that you're a genuine guy, so why couldn't you represent peace?

6) I know it's a pessimistic view but i don't think there would ever be peace on earth. The leading cause of disruption is racism. Groups being created that don't even exist to separate people who have different metaphorical values.

7) Religion is one of the building blocks of what we call a community today. I'm not a religious person myself but i don't doubt that it exists in every part of the world.

8) Religion can only bring peace (in my opinion) if every religion worshipped the same thing and had the same values. The diversity between different religions today causes disruption because of contradicting opinions.

9) I think religion has EVERYTHING to do with what the world is today because going back to my earlier point, religion is a fundamental building block of what we call a community. When people have nothing left, they turn to religion, even if they are atheist. Religion fuels people with a deep understanding of it, a deep belief in it, and people with nothing to lose.

10) I would recommend using things that people universally recognise as peace, such as stereotypical symbology i mentioned before like the white dove.

11) I DO work in a graphic design company, and i tend to look for people who look at things in a different way using original ideas, spontenaeity and the guts to try to represent things in a way never thought of before.

12) The government is just another factor in whats happening in the world along with religion playing a big part.

13) I like to think i'm just one guy who won't make a difference but who knows. if it came to it, of course i would.

14) I think the government are fueled (ultimately) by religion, and religion defines everything around us even if we don't realise it. So yeah, i think the government has everything to do with why the world is at war.

15) The government in my opinion have no chance at stopping the war. War's are determined by people's beliefs, not by what the government tells them to do.

16) Again, human nature is based upon religion. It's all intertwined. Everything discussed above is a contributing factor to peoples' opinions.

17) Of course humans are the reason for global warming. We are a selfish race (not specifically certain people) but as a whole, we don't do ourselves any favours.

18) I think they are two unrelated cubjects caused by two different contributing factors.

19) I think global warming canr represent peoples' ignorance and lack of will, but not lack of peace.

20) Unless everybody suddenly decides to unite under one sun (for want of a better phrase) then i don't think world peace is possible. Everybodies opinions and beliefs are so diverse that it would be damn enar impossible.

15.) No, they can't just go no war, it is about the people and their beliefs. They say no riots in football matches but it still happens.

16.) Yes, its how humans are, if we were different then we might not have war and pollution but we are not. We are just humans.

17.) Yes, we do our fair share of globel warming. If it caused by most people and affects everyone.

18.) No, two different subjects. Peace is totally different to Global Warming. If there was peace then we might be able to combat together and conquer global warmning.

19.) I don't think so, it could show our views on the subject but bring world peace. People's belief to religion and cultures are more important than global warming.

20.) I highly doubt it. Their are so many different people and cultures and beliefs. If there wasn't all these factors then we have world peace wouldn't we?

Yes, from what I've picked up you write honost, friendly and constructive comments. I consider you talkative in the sense that you are an active contributor to the forums and community, and because you spend a bit of time in the general area too.

2) What comes in your mind when I say “Peace“ ? (Explain)
When I hear the word peace, I like many others, think of it in the 'world peace' sense. And when I think and reflect upon news and current world events I see it as one of those things that's just out of our reach for the time being. Its something that I feel with technology and the level of globalization the way it is today, it's something that should be apparent and appear in all of our day to day lives, but for some reason the world still seems too young to fully grasp it yet. Peace and unity go hand-in-hand. And technology such as the web, is helping to achieve global unity, Autemo is an example. Where else on earth where people with so much in common from all around the world can come together and share common interests in such a free spirited environment daily. When I think of a symbolic meaning of peace, I think of it as a clear blue sky and a crisp ocean breeze. World Peace seems elusive at times, but every now and then we are reminded in tiny fractions it is there. Hopefully one day it will be here in the whole.

3) What would like to see in this project?
Effort and ingenuity. Without either one no project generally gets very far.

Yes I would like to.

To be an advocate of peace and represent it well I think a person needs to firstly be a good listener. You don't need to be his holiness the Dalai Lama, but you do need compassion, acceptance and understanding for those around you. From what I know of you I think you got what it takes to fulfill that criteria.

6) What do you think is necessary to bring peace on earth?
Global understanding that we are all alike. Regardless of where we are from, what religion we believe in, what colour our skin, what socio-economic background we have etc. If there is compassion and understanding that we are all human, and that the things that make us different and diverse are actually what makes the human race beautiful, then we'll be a step closer to peace.

Also knowledge is power. Ignorance is society's biggest hindrance and certainly the biggest enemy of peace. And when we all look more to science for the answers to ourselves, the universe, and why we are here, rather than blindside ourselves solely with religion, we will all be better off.

7) Do you believe in Religion?
I'm not a religious person, but I do have faith. They are believe it or not, distinguishable things. I have faith in humanity for example. To believe that there is some white old bearded man in the sky above who guides every bird and every mouse running around the on the earth in their day to day business is crazy. One just needs to take a lesson in cosmology or astronomy or learn works from people such as Carl Sagan. And it puts things in perspective about the universe and what's really going on around you.

8) Do you think the religion can change something to bring peace? Why?
The strange thing about religions is that they all have conflicting claims and contradicting arguments with one another. The major religions on Earth all contradict each other left, right and centre. Which one is true? Are none true? That's theoretically a possibility too. Wars and feuds have raged over religion for centuries. All because of their differences. I think people need to be accepting of others religions, only then (or alternately when all religions cease to be and people look elsewhere for answers). Will the world will be the closest it has ever been to peace.

9) Do you think the religion has something to do with what's happening in the world today? Why?
Yes. Throughout the entire history of civilization religion always has, and seemingly always will, bare impact in the worlds events. I'm not saying its the cause of all events, but some of them. Religion of some variety or another is found in every corner of the globe, so it's evident that it's impact would be found alongside too.

10) What would I need to represent the brand?
Positive attitude and a smile

11) Let's say you're working in a Graphic Design Company. What would you be looking for in someone who tries to sell himself as a brand?
Honosty, sincerity, dedication to his craft, knowledge of what he's talking about, confidence to sell himself.

12) Going back to the subject. Do you think the Government has something to do with what's happening in the World?
Again yes, of course they play some part in it, all governments everywhere have a big impact in society.

13) Would you do whatever it takes to bring peace in the World?
Certainly.

14) Do you think the Government is the reason why the World is at War?
They may play some part, but not all of it. I think there's more to it than just this. Conflict has been all around the world in different corners of it, for different reasons ever since time began.

15) Would you say that the Government has the power to stop War between countries?
Governments and heads of state have the power to do great things. They are the voice of nations. If they don't have the power to stop wars between countries, then who does?

16) Would you say that the human nature is responsible for what's happening on earth?
Some say its human nature to destroy ourselves. In part perhaps this is true, but having said that, I don't think we ever set about intentionally doing self harm.

17) Do you think that humans are the reason for global warming?
Without a doubt yes. The world, the very landscape as we know it, has changed so much since the industrial revolution it's not funny. Never before has the earth, its resources, and the global population changed so quickly. Ever.

18) Does Global warming and Peace can be part of the same subject?
No they are entirely separate issues for discussion. They may appear to have co-relation and interlace with one another but they are still separate things. They don't necessarily fall hand in hand. Meaning you can have found a resolution to global warming and still not have peace, and vice versa you can have peace but have not resolved global warming. I think we need to tackle one at a time! Global warming first, cos without that outta the way we might not be around to get a chance to seek peace

19) Can Global warming be a warning to represent the reason why Peace is absent on earth?
Global warning is a hot topic in current global discussion. I think it brings us closer because it makes us all realize we only have one home. It also opens up peoples minds to look to science for answers. Which is positive and a step in the right direction. And through exposure to global warming we are enforced to realize we are all here on earth together. This pale blue dot in the milky way we call Earth.

20) Do you believe that Peace can be restored on Earth? Why?
Yes, the only way to get something is to believe in it. If we were to lose our faith and believe that peace will always be out of our reach. Then we've already lost it.

Peace is incredibly hard to represent, and it would take a solid pair of shoulders to represent it. As long as you don't have a gun hanging over your shoulder or a syringe in your arm, anyone could represent peace, so yes, I think you could.

Courage and brains.

No.

Not really. Wars have been, and still is, fought over religions.

Depends on the case. For example some terrorism is based on extremist religious groups thoughts.

You'd need to be like Hitler: convincing and charismatic. There's nothing more boring than an unconvincing person speaking for their case.
